LEAD FROM THE FRONT
The unique fusion of my life in Africa, my 20 years’ experience project managing people and living my passion, married with my experience of taking clients on Safari so they can disconnect with the world and reconnect with themselves, results in powerful metaphors for understanding our humanity and the simple changes we can make as individuals to stand strong in an ever-changing world, lead from the front and make a positive impact.
LEAD FROM THE FRONT
As we travelled through Rwanda and the Congo, we witnessed the very worst and experienced the very best of ‘The beauty and destruction within ourselves, humanity and nature’.
From the epic leadership and courage that has resulted from the Genocide in Rwanda, climbing with the mountain Gorillas and being evacuated under heavy military guard during a hostage situation, a journey unfolded through which we discovered the power of intuition and leading from the front.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE FISH AND NOTHING ABOUT THE FISH
The current health epidemics we are experiencing around the world are out of control. We all know someone — or have lost someone — who has suffered from cancer. And we see on a daily basis how depression, bullying, domestic violence and suicide are on the rise — even our children are taking their own lives.
It’s time to stop and talk about the one common thread that is underlying this global crisis.
It’s time to stop and understand what the unseen epidemic that is rising for what it really is.
It’s time to stop and ask ourselves what can we do differently?
It’s time to stop and reconnect with ourselves and change the course of humanity.
The work I have done with women who have become homeless in Sydney, sex workers from the slums in Kenya, the children who have been rescued from dire circumstances at Kipchamgaa Children’s Home, through to the corporate CEO — no matter where I travel in the world or who I work with — the work I do and the methods I use are exactly the same and so is the underlying problem.
It’s time to stop and talk about the one underlying thread that changes people’s lives globally.
It’s time to stop, take the lead and heal this global epidemic.
It’s time to stop and discover what the secret to happiness and fulfilment really is, and how we obtain it and sustain it throughout our day-to-day lives.

THE GREAT RECONNECT
This is a time that we must stand strong and lean into ourselves, to listen to our own voice, challenge the status quo, break through paradigms to get breakthrough results and lead from the front.
The world is in a state of flux and change, the very systems we relied on and leaned into for guidance and support, (think governments, institutions, even the media) are breaking down.
In every challenge there is opportunity; the greater the challenge the greater the opportunity.
While we have access to more information, more resources, more of everything globally, we are simultaneously becoming more disconnected and addictions, breakdowns, pain and suffering are reflections of the great disconnect that is unravelling our supposedly more connected world.
It’s a powerful time in history where science and spirituality are intertwining. Research shows how the power of simple human conditions like focus, love, compassion and empathy are the aspects of leadership that will reconnect and change our world.

IT’S ONLY ONE STRAW
“It’s only one straw,” said 80 billion people.
In 1980, there were an estimated 4.4 billion people on the planet. In the year 2000, the number rose to 6.1 billion. Today, we stand strong at 7.1 billion — by 2022, the predicted population will be 7.95 billion people.
That represents a growth rate of between 1 and 1.7 per cent, or roughly 1 billion additional people a decade.
We are each cells in the greater whole of humanity and while we may not be able to change the world, we do have the power to make changes within ourselves that make a massive impact on the world.
Cells replicate in the image of themselves, when you make a change within yourself, you inspire and uplift others to do the same, creating change from the inside out.
Imagine a world where 80 billion people took responsibility for themselves. Responsibility meaning ‘Knowing they had the power to respond to life’s circumstances’.
It’s time to move from being mere victims of our circumstances, to choosing to stand strong and make a positive impact in our world.
